Masonic charity is wide-ranging, responding to international disaster appeals, requests for aid towards medical research, facilities for local hospitals and hospices, transport for groups helping disadvantaged people and providing equipment for local youth organisations.
The Forest of Knaresborough Lodge has recently made donations to local causes, including helping King James School buy musical instruments, supporting The Brigade of Starbeck to buy camping and musical equipment and donating to the renal units of Leeds and York Hospitals.
